Company History
Jim Corliss and Jerry Hogan started a Sir Speedy operation in Brookline Massachusetts in 1982. Jose Tafur, a current owner, joined the operation a year later. That operation was sold in 1989 and Corliss, Hogan & Tafur started a Sir Speedy in a Braintree Massachusetts storefront that same year. In 2001 they moved to a 17,000 sq. ft. plant on Wood Road, also in Braintree. The operation has always been a strong provider of digital services – they were the first Xerox iGen install in New England.
Since 2004 the company has also become a provider of high-end 4 and 5 color offset work, serving advertising agencies, trade resellers and small to midsize companies all over the Northeast. The current operation has 28 employees with production running 24-hours a day 7 days a week. Over the years their operation has been one of the largest in the Sir Speedy network, usually in the 1, 2 or 3 spot.
